How PuriFi Works
The core innovation of the PuriFi system is the Airborne Molecular Purification (AMP) technology. Unlike passive filters, PuriFi is an active system that works to clean the air throughout a home. The system contains three key components:
The Generator: Installed in your HVAC ductwork, it creates a blend of positive and negative ions.
The PM Sensor: Continuously monitors air quality, detecting particles as small as 0.3 microns.
The Smart Hub: Coordinates the system's response to air quality changes.
When the sensor detects a shift in air quality, it alerts the Smart Hub, which activates the Generator. This releases ions throughout your home, actively seeking and neutralizing contaminants in the air and on surfaces. By utilizing your existing HVAC system, PuriFi covers your entire home, making every vent a source of purified air.
Installation and Setup
PuriFi's installation is remarkably straightforward, something that unfortunately can't be said about many other air quality systems. The main Generator installs directly into your existing HVAC ductwork in about 20 minutes. The PM Sensor and Smart Hub take just 10-15 minutes to set up and are strategically placed for optimal monitoring.
For homes with multiple HVAC systems, PuriFi easily scales up, with each system requiring its own unit. This flexibility ensures that even larger Bountiful homes can enjoy uniform air purification throughout. And if you don't need air purification in one system for a portion of your house that is rarely used, you don't have to install one there.

Operation and Control
PuriFi's Smart Hub is the brains of the operation, constantly analyzing data and adjusting purification levels. Control is simple via a well-designed smartphone app that puts real-time air quality control at your fingertips. The app gives you an instant read on your air quality. You can boost purification before guests arrive or set schedules that match your family's routines. For the tech-savvy, PuriFi integrates with popular smart home systems, enabling voice control and automation. If you have a comprehensive smart home system like Control4, air purification can be incorporated into custom scenes that include lighting, temperature, and more.
Maintenance and Longevity
One of the best things about the PuriFi system is it requires minimal maintenance. There are no filters to replace! The main maintenance is replacing the PuriFi O2 Catalyst every two years. This component is critical in converting any ozone generated during the purification process back into oxygen to keep your home's air clean. The system sends you a notification when it's time for this replacement, so there's no guesswork for maintenance.
Despite its powerful performance, PuriFi is remarkably energy-efficient. The entire system uses less electricity than a 20W light bulb, meaning you won't see a significant impact on your energy bills.
